I can't adopt my 5 year old nephew

In the Winter of 2021, I felt compelled to become a notary again and decided to take the steps in order to receive my appointment from the state of Missouri.

It was one of those things that I couldn't get off my mind, so I took every step I could to get it done quickly and I think I began in December of 2020 or January 2021 and then finally received it in March of 2021.

It was during the same time that I was aligning myself with Ampray, a solar company with ministries that also States that God is the CEO and runs the company and truly does.

Being a notary basically allows you to notarize and be a witness to someone who is signing a very important document and as a notary, you are appointed to ensure that the person shows proof of identification and allows for them to be verified legally in order to sign the document and also Administer oaths.

I received my notary approval in April 2021 and started to serve current clients and family members and so forth. I also set up a Google page to spread the word.

I reflected on why God wanted me to do this and didn't really know why I felt so compelled to do so. In late April I got a call from Billy a young man in Kansas City who said that his sister was living on the streets and wasn't willing to get identification was doing drugs and just not able to take care of herself and her 5 year old properly so he was watching over this boy I think his name was Austin and he also had custody.  He said I can't adopt my 5-year-old nephew and he's like my son.

He stated the state won't allow him to adopt his 5-year-old nephew Austin because his sister would not get identification so they couldn't prove who she was and was not able to sign a document for adoption that allowed her to make the official legal binding adoption official.

He called and asked me to help and I asked him if he called a lawyer and also called state authorities to help and get this done.

He said that he did call them and they did not know what to do. He asked if I had any suggestions. As I pondered the question, what to do, I knew as I stated today that God knows everything, and since we are his children and he wants us to succeed in this life he can tell us anything we need to know.

I prayed and I asked while on the phone with Billy and I told Billy that I would pray and I do know someone who knows everything. He said who knows everything?

I said, "God knows everything and I'll find out what he wants me to do to help you."

As I pondered the question and asked the Lord, I thought of legal and I thought of all kinds of things that potentially could help Billy but the only thing that kept coming to my mind is to read the notary Handbook.

So I began to read the notary Handbook online and I read a statement that said "the oldest form of identification was for someone to know someone else."  You are identified by someone that has known you for your whole life for 5 years or whatever time it is. As I did the research on notaries I realized that they started notarizing or approving documents from the oldest person in town who pretty much knew the history of what was going on with people and who was the oldest of the family and who had the inheritance coming and so forth.

I called Billy and I said, "Billy the oldest form of identification is someone that knows someone, so we can create a document, an affidavit of identification for his sister, Angela". I can notice that creating a file identity as long as you had 2 witnesses that knew her more than 5 years and would sign this document, and she could sign this document. This document would create an immediate identification for her.

I also looked her up on Facebook because I didn't want this little boy being adopted by some weirdos or some people trying to fake something so I saw her on Facebook I saw Billy and I actually contacted someone that knew Billy, named Tiffany and said that he was a standup guy.

Billy already had custody of the child so I felt very secure and the Lord let me know to move forward.

So we created her temporary identity with this paper and then signed the adoption papers.

This was the 1st of many experiences where God truly works in our lives and people call it a miracle.  If we truly look at how God works,  it's not a miracle, it's what God wants for us every day. He wants for us to consult with him, to look to him, to understand his will, and go and do it even if it is unreasonable or it doesn't always make sense.

I consider as I read the Old Testament and the New Testament and the miracles of the pioneers and the saints and the early days of the church how amazing these things were that we were able to reflect on and read, but each of these miracles was preceded by smaller episodes of God's hand in their life where they built faith, step by step. It didn't vine all at once,  but daily, sometimes slowly, they built faith line upon line to realize that God will do whatever it is we ask them to do if it's his will.

Consider in your own life, when we go through times of difficulty and trial and then we say, "Lord I need your help when life is hard rather than constantly getting to know him, and sometimes it doesn't feel like he's always there. If we were to consider and understand that God is with us daily and truly recognizes him every day, consulting with him constantly about little things that are meaningful,  not the things that don't matter but the things that truly do matter and the decisions that are important, he is always there for us to counsel with and be directed by and truly have an amazing companionship. His constant presence in our lives allows us to make decisions that will never steer us wrong. We can build up our confidence on a daily basis that he is there for us giving guidance and when the bigger challenges come it's part of who we are and what we do to counsel with the Father. asking for guidance and then and then when the big things of life that are challenging and vexing to us will be nothing more than a daily council to know how to work through The Times that that seemed to be monumental.

I bear witness that God is with us and the power of the atonement and Jesus Christ's work are real if we allow them to be in our lives every single day. This is truth, and you can see it if you open your Spiritual
and physical eyes to the daily influence of the holy ghost.

God has the plan and we can put ourselves in a position to be instruments for God to influence as he used me to help Billy adopt Austin.
